Meet the "Blue Crush"

So every year I coach I end up creating nicknames for my kids AND a team nickname….and this being my first year at TAV I knew the nickname had to represent the team and me. So this year’s team is going to be know as BLUE CRUSH (TAV 12 Blue).

So let’s meet the team right? Only person missing in this photo was my Assistant Coach (18 Black OH & Arkansas signee, Liz Fortado)….

Back Row: Shaylee, Camryn, Mikayla, Rachel, Sadie, Sam
Front Row: Neva, Kacey, Isabella, Amanda, Macey
Ain’t gonna lie…beyond excited to see where this team goes this season…we might be a “2” team, but in most clubs we would be a “1” team!

From Austin to Arlington with LUV

Give me any reason to sneak off to Austin and I am SO in….but being able to watch two amazing kids play in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney along with seeing friends…well SO THERE! Haha…

First up AZ vs MI State…despite Arizona’s loss I am so proud of Libero Candace Nicholson! Ex LBC/Mizuno stud…

Next up was TX vs. TX State. So love watching Haley play for UT. AMAZING player + amazing woman. Blessed to know her FOR SURE! PS TEXAS won in 3…

Even though it was a short trip to Austin…it was well worth it.

Back to Arlington I went so that I could be at the TAV Casino party. Ahhh…such a fun event! And to watch Ping deal cards…all I can say is PRICELESS!!

A lil bit Country

So when an awesome friend (Amy) comes into town your suppose to let them be the visitor right? It is THEIR vakay right? One would think…but of course somehow I make my friend’s vakay my personal get-a-way! haha….first up Hard Eight BBQ (the original of course) in Stephenville with Amy, Sarah, and Misty. After that FAB lunch we were off to Dublin, Texas (aka Dr. Pepper, Texas). Oh my obsession with DDP…THANK YOU MISTY COOK. haha

After the tour and stocking up GALORE on DDP, we headed off to Misty’s grandparents ranch….fricking GORGEOUS. So Sarah of course has wanted to go COW TIPPING FOREVER…and with the cattle out there she tried to actually cow tip…bahaha. Seriously classic….

Cowboy Country Y’all

So most of you know that I am NOT a COWBOYS fan BUT a COWBOYS STADIUM fan…and now hopefully EVERYONE knows (so that my family can stop thinking I am a traitor…haha). SO any chance I can get to go to the stadium let alone watch a pro football game (since LA has not had a team in YEARS), well I AM THERE! And when a friend offers an AMAZING seat with more friends…well DOUBLE BONUS. haha

Now, back to the stadium….if you have not been able to go inside this arena, then I am telling you GO NOW. There is nothing in this country that even comes close. And the Cowboys organization KNOWS how to put on a show. I mean GEEZ can we say the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, 7 story Screen, etc. Honestly there is not a bad seat in the house…and EVERYONE is entertained.

NC luv

When ever I need to get away…North Carolina is always waiting for me. Amazing friends + the Meeks Fambam + amazing coffee + amazing wine + ALLORAH time = amazing time :). This year a bit different though…we actually spent 2 days at White Lake, NC. White Lake is a Spring fed lake that was created by a meteor (along with other lakes in the same county). SO BEAUTIFUL!
Of course one of the days we had to go to the local town (Elizabethtown) to see the local flavor.

Of course u KNOW I had to take a pic by this sign….hehe

And the beach at White Lake, NC…too much fun

And now for some ALLORAH shots 🙂

Much luv to everyone that I saw (& missed) in North Carolina…until next SPRING 🙂
