Oh Ten Summa Begins
If someone would have told me that the beginning of the summer of 2010 would be wacky, emotional, and all over the place I would have laughed at you. SERIOUSLY. One thing I learned is that you seriously need to tell the people you care about you love them when you can….you never know when it will be the last time you see them. Much luv G’ma….ANYWAYS…here is the start of an ever changing summer!

I have really come to the conclusion that I NEED A VAKAY EVERY FEW MONTHS to stay sane in my world. And all I can say about this trip was that…I WAS SPOILED ROTTEN. From friends to SPI to vball to amazing men, truly an amazing time in one of my fave locations in the world. Check out the mini video….
Ahhhh…..Winter Wonderland
So, did I know it would be seriously a winter wonderland when I arrived in Cinci? Um, negatory ghost rider! I mean I figured I would fly into a snowy land in Chitown, but fresh powder in Cinci…amazing! And that was just the start of the good times out of Cinci. From the amazing Peters family (Really? Seriously?) to the Westerkamm Fam to the great clinics to ACE to Men in Tights…nuff said!

So maybe everything is not “technically” new, but it is new to me!! With my SECOND new used car, to the opening of the MAC (home to Mizuno Long Beach), to the 2010 tryouts for club…and the approach of my “new” year (not to be explained online, but just know that this past Oct-Oct has been incredibly rough in all areas of my life) I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life. NO I am not moving or anything radical like that…just trying to move forward. Many many exciting things lie ahead of me…from vball to personal to job…so excited to see what 2010 has in store!!

So who needs a high tech camera when you have a mobile phone these days….I mean I might not have a flash on my treo palm, but hey, it gets the job done…and then there are all my friends that have “crackberries” and they have flashes…hehe…

My Happy Place….
So, one does not TRULY realize what one has lost until it is gone (or not able to be visited frequently…haha). I always say that the two places that I can get away from my volley existence is at Disneyland or when I am cooking…so, Disney it is (Cooking for one is truly not fun)! My pass is working again SO I headed to Disney Cali Adventure this past Sunday for a few hours…and not only did I have a blast (typical), but met some of my Disney PIC’s fab friends from his SC days…ahhh, so my happy place!!

So with all the blogging I am doing with D4K I kinda get sidetracked off my own blog!! So now it is catch up time!! An Almost Perfect Weekend
So, for the most part, this weekend was adventurous, active, and refreshing all rolled into one! Oh how I like those kinda of weekends! From snowboarding for the first time to some relaxation on Sat to Disneyland (with Maddie, Stacy, and Zack) on Sunday…good times 🙂 Now if only my lovely fam could be better (health wise) things would have been WAY better…but what can you do right?

My First Time…SNOWBOARDING
So yes, I officially snowboarded for the first time EVER! Something I truly thought I would never do BUT was given the opportunity today (THANK YOU ROUSH)!! And yes, going into the morning I knew I would be sore….and right now am moving as slow as a turtle (no pun intended…hahaha)….but it was WAY worth it and want to do it again :)! So enjoy my retarded video blog that straight cracks me up!!
