Lindsay Making Fun of Me
Ahhh July
So this month has been pretty much one of the best July’s on record for me. And keep this in mind…I have never had a summer to seriously enjoy SO that might have something to do with it! Hahaha! From Jen’s Bday bash at the Universal City Walk Hard Rock to the Wells Fargo Day at the Beach to the Long Beach AVP…things have been pretty good!!
Jen’s Bday Bash
WF Day at the Beach
Misty/Kerri’s Olympic Send off Party
Manhattan 6-Man (beginning of August blurs with end of July…haha)
A Recent Memory…
So after driving to Downtown Long Beach along the shoreline, I realized HOW MUCH I LOVE MY HOMETOWN…and how much internal strength I truely have (and miss seeing sometimes) as a result of my past in this fabulous city. Being from Long Beach is so unique and gratifying, but you can forget that when in the normal day to day life.
And can we just talk about my last few weeks? From the D4K Dinner with the Stars that had so many names in attendance (which rocked), to the Huntington Beach AVP last weekend, to SEEING RUSH LIVE IN CONCERT!!! Holy Frijoles….AMAZING. If anyone has a choice of venues to see a concert….SEE THE CONCERT AT THE NOKIA THEATER. The acoustics there are amazing….and SO WAS RUSH. I heard my Ghost of a Chance and Witchhunt…oh yea….
Our first official beach practice
So…first and foremost…my team is officially HAMS. Hahaha. Classic. Here is a video blog from our first official beach practice. And for most it was their first time practicing on the beach…FUN!!
LBC ya
So last week’s AVP stop in Long Beach was actually pretty decent. One, staying at home rocked and two, IT IS MY HOME TOWN!! The site where we were located ROCKED too! Every view was amazing and the weather was amazing! What more could you ask for? Oh…the vball rocked too!! Here are some pics from the weekend….
Here are two shots off of Ken Delgado’s site…hehehe
My friend Julie. who came into town with her friend Brittany, ended up staying with me through this past Wed. So, I ended taking her to BNB, South Coast Plaza, and to a bonfire with my sister’s youth group! Hehehe!
